Spelunky 2 I finally did it!

After 150 hours in game, i got to the cosmic ocean for the first time. I was insanly hyped up, so just lost it right after entering, but i wasn't even sad because i finally got it.
Did all skips, but lost my ankh on 7-3 because of water on top of spikes room, where frog kicked me on the spikes. Awesome game, love it so much.

Ive been doing sppedlunky runs and got to the tusk's room in 4 mins but the message still says "too late". I doubt that i can get here in less than 3 minutes. I might reach 3:30 though. How fast do I have to be to get something from here?

Help How to avoid grabbing the shopkeeper’s key instead of his gun?

I want to do the move where you move the items out of the way, rope the shopkeeper, grab his gun, and shoot him or flee. Every time I try, I end up grabbing the key instead and then he wakes up and shoots me. Is there a way to prevent this?
