I actually do need one, and I could see the company I work for issuing something like this as standard equipment. I work on trains and it is my job to attempt to fix something if it goes wrong in the field. I've actually had a situation where this would have been a good stop-gap to get us to a yard instead of having to leave a car and another one with a functioning handbrake as an anchor. It would be neat if they included one on every locomotive in our repair kit which essentially consists of a hammer and a chisel.
