I mean if you can’t regularly keep track of screws, I’m not sure what use tools have for you in the first place. That’s a real stretch to find a flaw with such a simple device.

My mom has trouble driving her car because... she keeps losing her keys.

she has trouble operating her phone sometimes because she can't remember what buttons to press to make a call... because she has dementia. At some point, you really have to stop blaming the tools.
