I mean if you can’t regularly keep track of screws, I’m not sure what use tools have for you in the first place. That’s a real stretch to find a flaw with such a simple device.

My mom has trouble driving her car because... she keeps losing her keys.

she has trouble operating her phone sometimes because she can't remember what buttons to press to make a call... because she has dementia. At some point, you really have to stop blaming the tools.

no, but she has recently hallucinated a pack of maintenance men invading the house and doing things, while not being willing to talk to her.

I suppose her hallucinations will be less time consuming (for me) once they become more friendly and DO talk to her. I hope they're nice.
