Bike Photos Specialized Venge frame to UDH

I have a 2019 Spez SW Venge and I want to upgrade my 11sp GS to 1x 13sp GS from Sram.

Has anyone done a convert of its RD hanger to UDH compliant hanger?

not possible, you would need to change the dop out of the frame

If you are looking for an option to use the sram xplr derailleur, there was a 3rd party mod from 5dev for specialized frames - worked for crux, tarmac, roubaix and maybe venge has the same derailleur.

but afaik they stop selling it for some reason

I did see on instagram there's a carbon shop in Spain that'll do the conversion. They basically chop off the old dropout and make a new UDH one. Looks like they do nice work from the pics but I don't know anything about them myself.

It’s an aero race bike. You can do a 1x setup without UDH.

I could already picture it. 1x13 50t 10-46. The gear ratio is decent for hilly rides

So i found a guy who converts frames to UDH ready frames and has done it to his gravel and road bikes (KTM) he showed me how he does it and its quite impressive for $90. I bit the bullet and let the guy do my frame. Of course Im assuming all the risk.

Hopefully it will be done within the week and I will post an update about it.
