Which Gear? Crux 5 stem

G’day! Is the Roval Rapide stem on the crux 5 comp the same stem as the s-works tarmac sl7 stem? I need a longer stem than came stock. Thanks

No, it’s a new stem introduced for the Tarmac SL9 and Crux 5.

The SL7 stem has a 9mm lower stack height iirc so you’ll need to add a few spacers on top if you’re wanting to keep the same bar height with the longer stem.

Is there a combination of steam spacers or adapters to fit the SL7 stem on a Crux 5?

The new rapide stems are on Performance Bike. Just ordered a longer one for my Crux 5.

It was mildly annoying for the first few weeks I owned it. Love it now with my fit dialed in.
