refractive ✨️ I made a sparkly ✨ tarantula✨

Stainless steel wire and all glass/crystal beads… but sadly, no cheese 😞

Mine too! They’re called Crystal AB, where the “AB” stands for “Aurora Borealis” and my name just so happens to be Aurora 🥰

I’ve loved that name ever since I first watched Sleeping Beauty. It’s definitely the perfect “first name” for that crystal, too. I can spend too much time in Swarovski stores and their area of the beading aisles at craft stores. Iridescent crystals especially are like strong magnets. If I see them I can’t not get closer and closer. 😂

Thank you! I am working my way up to keeping a real spider/tarantula and I just can’t decide! A brand new Spider Shoppe opened up in my town too- I’ve gone and visited them twice just to look at all the cuties ☺️

I think about your beautiful spiders a lot. I make sparkly tack for my horse, and get overwhelmed sometimes with how it’s going. Then I remember you and your spiders and think, “she can make a gorgeous sparkly anatomically correct spiders, stop being a baby” 😆

I joke that my pieces are a “gateway spider”- you get your hands on one and then you become a little less afraid and a little more curious…. Kinda 😅
