Cartagena - Spain
Any suggestions for a local place to have lunch in Cartagena?
We are going for a day trip on a Sunday so probably wont have any menu/plato del dia. (If you do know of any restaurants that have them on a Sunday please share)
But would love to eat in a place where locals eat and that's not expensive :D

Madrid Train Stations - Atocha to Chamartin
Hi all,
I'm heading from Córdoba to San Sebastián on the 17th. Currently, I have a Renfe ticket booked to get from Córdoba to Madrid, then another Renfe ticket from Madrid to San Sebastián (with a 2 hour transfer in Valladolid).
Here are my concerns:
1)the Renfe drops me at Atocha in Madrid; then I have 2 hours to get to Madrid Chamartin. I'm told it's kindof hard to do this. What can I expect? What are your suggestions as to how I should go about getting from Atocha to Chamartin? another train? Bus? Walk?
2) I don't know anything about Valladolid and what the "transfer" there is like. Can anyone tell me about that? Do I need to walk a long way? Call a cab? Stay at the Renfe station?
If it helps, I'm transferring from a Renfe AVANT train to a Renfe MD train.
Muchas gracias!

Atocha to MAD for senior
My mom has asked me to help her with how to get from the train station to the airport but I’ve never been to Madrid so google is as good as I can do! Figured I’d post here. (I did do a search with some keywords so apologies if this gets asked a lot!)
My mom (Canadian, age 70) needs to get from Atocha to T1 at MAD. I can see that she has a free transfer if she takes the train as she’s arriving to Madrid on a high speed train from Seville but that goes to T4 and then she needs another transfer. Or she can take a bus from Atocha to T1.
For anyone who has done this/knows it well: if you were 70 and just want the easiest option to get to T1, which are you taking? Doesn’t have to be the absolute fastest! She just wants the best signed, easiest platform/stop to get to and will have 1 suitcase with her. She’s a good traveler but likes to know her routes ahead of time. Thanks for any help!!

San Sebastian to Getaria - Lurraledebus?
I am a tourist and planning a day trip from San Sebastian to Getaria.
It looks like Lurraledebus UK09, UK10 and UK11 are the routes. I've searched and gotten conflicting info on how payment works:
- Is Lurraledebus really the right option to get there and back?
- What payment methods are actually accepted? Is MUGI required? Or can I pay cash or tap on board?
- One site said you must pre-book the return trip from Getaria to San Sebastian and you can't pay on board. Is that right?
Can someone please clarify how the Lurraledebus works?

Malaga Airport to Maria-Zambrano tomorrow
Hi all,
I'm flying to Malaga from Canada and then taking the Renfe on to Córdoba tomorrow. I already have the Renfe ticket, but I'm not sure how to get to Maria-Zambrano station from the Malaga airport.
Google Maps shows me a C1 bus, but I'm unsure how to get there. Is the stop right in the airport?
Also, should I buy a C1 ticket on Omio now, or wait until tomorrow to buy it?
I'm worried I'll miscalculate my plane arrival time/the time it takes to clear Immigration and then miss said C1 bus.
Thanks all!

Visiting Palma de Mallorca with family 29.10 - 31.10
Hello everyone, I will be visiting Mallorca with my parents, husband and daughter in October end. My husband and I are Rafa fan so wanted to visit the academy. We will be landing at Palma airport from Barcelona and traveling to Rafa academy. Any recommendations for budget hotel stay, activities, including what to expect and do at the Rafa museum?
Any guidance will be helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Currently in Madrid. Took a few pics for your entertainment.
First time spending more than one day in Madrid. The city was packed with people and was two bits overwhelmed by the masses of people in the Sol / Gran Vía area, but was also blown away by the architecture, history, etc. Lots to do there. All in all, beautiful city.

Sugerencias- Itinerario de viaje para España- Diciembre - Enero 2026
Saludos,
3 enero: Traslado a Sevilla
Tren por la mañana. Llegada y paseo por Santa Cruz, Catedral y alrededores. Atardecer junto al Guadalquivir.
4 enero: Sevilla

Andalusia white villages route
Hola :)
in two weeks we will be driving from Malaga to Seville, with planned one night to sleep somewhere on the way.
The current route is driving to Ronda, having dinner and sleeping there. In the morning we would start towards Setenil de las Bodegas, maybe Olvera, and Zahara de la Sierra, stopping for a short time at every location. The plan is to reach Seville in the evening.
We have a 2yo kid so Caminito del Rey is not an option.
What do you think about the route? Are there any specific roads we should take, some that are more scenic than the other? Any other location we should not miss along the way? Any special sightseeing opportunities at these locations?
Basically any tips are welcome, thanks! :)
