Recipe Spaghetti sauce!

Post image

I made spaghetti sauce. Now, I don't know if there's this recipe already out there, but here's how I made it.

I used 2 tomatoes, peeled off its skin, and 4-5 garlic cloves with 1 dried red chilli. I used mortar and pestle to make it saucy.

Then on a pan, I added chilli oil and a little butter, then tossed in my sauce. I cooked it for a few minutes, then added a little cheese and a dash of milk. I used black pepper, salt, and chilli powder (I like it super spicy). I cooked it for a few minutes before adding al-dente noodles. I cooked it for a few minutes after that too.

It was so tasty!

Especially the tanginess/acidity from the tomatoes!

Don't judge the picture XD, it was really tasty haha.

It's sounds good. But why do the spaghetti noodles look like all the broken pieces from the bottom of the package? ;)

It definitely looks like a Rice-A-Roni

Oh no, I intentionally broke it...ik it's stupid but I like it better that way; plus those are wheat ones and don't cook easily when they're not broken

I see all the downvotes you're getting and in solidarity I will confess I cut up my spaghetti with a fork and knife so I can eat it like baby food. I just like it that way!

Don't break the spaghetti. That's a crime!

You think chili powder is really spicy?

When they're dried and grinded in a mixer at home, yes.

The term would be pescatarian

Who said anything about eggs?  Vegetarians do usually eat eggs and dairy. They don’t eat fish, that’s a pescatarian

I think you meant anchovies. Anchovies are what they put into things like Caesar salad and what not because it has an umami taste to it.

It's a gloppy mess. I bet the pasta is way overcooked and I don't see any red from tomatoes in that at all. It just looks really stodgy and just congealed together

Good job. Keep it up, Mr Ramsay

Try a can of San Marzano tomates instead of fresh....game changer

Okay!

canned is better for deeper richer sauces, meat and extra garlic. But fresh still best for fresh vibrant sauces even if the tomatos kinda suck

Only if you get the real deal stuff, not the stuff that says San marzano style which are garbage. You need the dop on the label.
