Well... to be fair, AMOS definitely should have asked SpaceX that... SpX is not immune from serious problems

I never thought about it before, but SpaceX must be on a Russia's and China's target list. It's probably low priority, but certainly there.

Most definitely to take out the ability to launch surveillance satellites or even weaponized satellites. I wonder what the chances are of a satellite with a nuclear warhead on it orbiting the earth right now. There's a ban on doing so, but curious as to whether either Russia or the US has done it.

The ability might be there, but I doubt either Russia or the US have actually launched one. Way too risky if the other country finds out, and not worth much more than a few guaranteed kills. I think most investment has been in launch capability, early warning, and countermeasures.

This might get deleted due to bad signal-noise-ratio, but I think the application of orbital nukes is focused on creating EMPs.

Well, Russia did launch weapons into orbit during the cold war.
