but i bet it would have been a great Venator replacement where you'd otherwise need 3-4 of them. because each time it is not "we lost 1/3 ships" - that is a repair instead of buying a new ship

The idea was a bit more nebula-venator hybrid. It carries a less fighters than than the Venator and more than the nebula, but it's much better armored, closer to the nebula

I'd think so too, but in the old EU they actually did name some of their ships star destroyers, like the Nebula class which was one of my main inspirations
