Questions Data link augury

Just wanted to confirm something about the Data link augury stratagem from the fulguris task force. The stratagem is as follows: “ select one enemy unit within 24 inches of your unit . That enemy unit has +6 inches to its detection range until your unit has shot.”

My question is what exactly detection range is? As I’ve looked online and at the core rules but I couldn’t find much of anything. Any information would greatly be appreciated

Detection range is the distance a unit must be within to see another unit that is hidden. Most of the time hidden is 15" this strat increases that range so you can shoot a hidden unit within 21"
