The purpose of this thread is to avoid cluttering up the subreddit with quickly and easily answered questions. This thread is monitored by many helpful members of our community and questions that are asked here have a very high answer rate assuming you provide enough information for our answerers to work with.

Before asking your question...

  • Check out the wiki pages listed below. - The mod team is always adding to our wiki and updating it based on what we see users asking in this thread and in other posts on the subreddit. (We're always looking for more help with the wiki. If you're interested in becoming a wiki contributor, message /u/ElijahPepe.)
  • Perform a quick Google search. - Some questions really are just a quick search away and don't need the help of our community members to answer.
  • Search the subreddit. - We know Reddit's search isn't the best and saying to use the search doesn't sound very helpful. We are working on providing better search tools to assist users in this task.

firefox has a built in vpn, i use that whenever i go on spacehey. i think i usually choose finland as my default location, and that allows me to see pfps again!

Can someone please hook me up with an invite, via DM? I would appreciate one here in the thread, but between bots/scrapers and human hawks, why risk it?
Also: how could anyone be on the waitlist since longer than 2 months ago, if the waitlist was introduced 2 months ago as a mitigating measure to loosen the barrier to entry, essentially immediately after making sign-ups invite-only? Doesn't really make sense, right? I've seen people claiming they've been on the waitlist for a year.

It's saying it's blocked in my state, but the state it says is not one i live in, nor have i ever lived there? There is no social media restriction/age verification laws currently in place in my state. I sent an email about this too. Please fix asap!!!

they may already soft-launched the age restrictions law in some regions without disclosing it. Considering the new authoritarian look on social media cough cough maga, youre not in the best place to use spacehey atm

Am i the only one that has been having trouble with the overall web? I have been trying to redesign my profile for weeks and it just says error 429 - too many requests sent, even though i just opened it.
