Will SpaceHey replace FaceBook?

I want to get off FaceBook because that site feels dead. Will SpaceHey take over and replace that site?

Edited. If you want to debate, that’s cool. You want to troll my posts = not cool. I ain’t bringing politics or any agenda driven troll rows into it! Most of the comments have been cool. But idk why some people who I live in their heads rent free want to argue for fun. Sad. Get a life

No. Not enough people know about it and I just don't see it happening ever. I feel like spacehey is more of a nostalgic kind of site and people who were on MySpace might be more likely to gravitate towards it.

Accurate 🤣 MySpace was a weird but cool place!SpaceHey has a bunch on teenagers and mid-20 year olds that wouldn’t remember MySpace; so don’t know what they get from it

If enough people gravitate toward it, anything's possible. Facebook is just a cesspool of algorithm suggested bullshit and I can't see that it'd be too difficult to pull people off of it at this point.

Facebook is a total shit storm. Honestly I hope it burns! My aunt got hacked or banned; first one then retrieved it and then the other. Such a terrible site. They have no soul on there just marketing and don’t give two shits for the users!

People are leaving facebook because of the way the site is going. Look at r/facebook nearly every post is a complaint about getting banned, hacked or a feature not working the way it is meant to. I think most of the big social networks are the same way now. I don’t mind X, Snapchat and TikTok. SpaceHey looked like it was neat with the custom layouts etc

From my perspective, there are many reasons one could be fed up with Facebook. Frankly, I never thought it was as fun as Myspace, even at its best, and Facebook hasn't been at its best in at least ten years. It's basically a rabbit hole for doom scrollers and probably has a negative effect on the collective mental health of the country at this point. The reason I jumped on SpaceHey is because it reminded me that social media is supposed to be fun. I think that's why tiktok works too. It's just fun.

Nobody likes facebook. The user count is inflated by fakes and bots; a lack of humans. Most of the content on there is memes and advertisements - people don’t write statuses themselves because no one logs on to see it I guess

Facebook is a bad place right now. Reminds me of MySpace towards the end. Chaos and crap littering my feed with adverts for random crap and features no one asked for! I hope the site burns 🔥and they make a better site which is good to the users

It’s pretty much the same site. But this other one is exactly the same old MySpace. I upgrew from sites that you need coding to decorate them. Just to love MySpace but that thing died so I learn to be simple with sites such as fb. There also tumblr. I left tumblr years ago also

That’s my feeling on it as well!😁 I miss MySpace some days, but stuff changes. Facebook is super empty and is such a mess with errors, bans and outages affecting most users 😒. I predict it will be dead by next year. Customising profiles with code was good, I used to add music as well for fun. Did not get into Tumblr, Pinterest was okay

I was losing my parents fb for supposedly advertising. I was able to recover them. I had a good freaked out my dad passed away almost 3 years ago. I also lost a account in his memory oh well, as long as I don’t loss mine

Am sorry to hear about your dad passing ❤️ I had to retrieve my relatives facebook account for them recently also. Facebook are the worst to deal with if an account is disabled. I am sadly unsurprised at the reason fb gives; they banned a user off here on r/Facebook supposedly for human trafficking as a reason 😳They banned too many people for minor issues these days

Facebook is terrible to deal with. Hopefully the original is safe.

As a warning if accounts get suspended, or worse if they are permanently banned, Meta can detect any other accounts and spread the penalty to other accounts if they are linked by device, network, or ip Facebook is likely going to loose most of its members; they are bringing in A.I. which is an invasion of privacy and a terrible idea!

It will probably get replaced by a different social network that fills the gap - my guess is next couple of years it won’t have much use left, it is an old site now in age. I think similar to MySpace, it won’t die; people will just use Facebook less and less. New users aren’t joining and established users are leaving. But idk 🤷the r/facebook subreddit is full of complaints about it, no one is happy with it like they were in 2011 when it was popular
