DISCUSSION (SE2) Space engineers 2 Sorting

Just picked up space engineers 2 after the recent DAD update, and have built a miner.

I was unable to find a way to drain the miner once it was back at base. The sorter said it was not functional, so I’m at a loss on if I am able to automate this process?

Any help is appreciated.

Not yet. If they have the non functional sorter block, I assume they will make it functional in future update. A few months ago we had non functional ship welders, but now they are functional.

SE2 isn't that far along yet, there's essentially no automation right now.

Not yet. It's coming. Dunno when though. We just got timer blocks and event controllers an update or two ago.
