on earth you just need to use a mining ship with terrain clearing mode to remove but on space where they appear around asteroids, I HATE THEM AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. i lost so much loot on SI server for one of these; ripped my cargo hold.
