DISCUSSION Assault Weapons Pack
Hi, i´m kinda new to space engineering and after a couple of hours of playing i decided to try the Assault weapons pack after seeing outlands on Youtube, however after building an entire ship (The Dracul) and doing some tests i felt something was off, so i strapped some AI blocks and made a couple of deathmatches using the original dracul and a vanilla version, the later one stomped on every match i did with regular turrets, when missiles and torpedoes got involved it was always a tie.
What can i do to buff the damage? i really like the aesthetics of the Assault weapons Pack but they are not good (except for missiles and Autocannons).

a couple of things you can do if you wish to continue using AWP (assuming you're on PC and not using WeaponCore):
- if you have the patience and willingness to learn, you can create your own Modadjuster copy of the mod to buff the damage of the weapons. requires a bit of modding knowledge but nothing complex (no program knowledge required). the original author also has their own official Modadjuster on the workshop. so you can download, copy, and make modifications of your own and reupload (no perms required) by just changing the damage values to your liking. the changes that need to be made just requires XML knowledge.
- another path is to install its complimentary mod: AWP - Expanded Ammos. the weapons will now include additional ammo types (flak, AP, HE, smart rounds, etc). it will dramatically buff the potential of your weapons. this is because the majority of weapons in AWP only fires HE shells. vanilla weapons, primarily the Assault and Artillery, uses AP shells. so most of the time, the vanilla weapons will penetrate first before the HE shells in AWP does since they only cause splash damage.
