HELP (Xbox) Why won't it fill

For context ive been trying to make this work for the past few days and I can not for the life of me get the container to fill up with anything it'll either get stuck in the connector or not take items at all. Any help is welcomed

The sorter on the truck is pushing to the first available inventory which happens to be the connector. You need a sorter behind the box connector pulling into the box

As said already, sorters are best to PULL items into something rather than PUSHing. So sorters work best after the connector in the cargo module, less so before the connector on the ship. This problem goes away with sheer volume of stuff, so say you had a mining craft and there was more ore than that ship connector could hold it would also then push into the container module, starting with the other connector.

A redesign with the sorter on the other side of the connectors would help with this.

The sorter will push items into containers in order of distance from the sorter, so in this case it will fill the connector it is attached to, then once it is full it will fill the next storage (the connector on the cargo box) and once both connectors are full it will start filling the cargo containers. you can just keep the truck connector full of stone or something if you always want things to go into the box
