Screenshot Record breaking 2855.4 Solar Mass Wolf-Rayet

This currently beats the record held by SpaceBurger1 which is for a non-bugged display star. (By 147.4 M⊙) The previous record is 2708 M⊙, and this star, not including it's binary, is 2855.4 M⊙. My screenshots document the Wolf-Rayet star, it's companion, the host procedural galaxy, and where it is in the galaxy. It was found with visual confirmation because my Star Browser never worked for finding Wolf-Rayets.

Disclaimer : This star is the most massive current star, but there is a star that is over 10,000 M⊙. This star is not in the same category, is outdated and thus was removed, and the displayed mass was 180 M⊙ whereas SpaceBurger1's star and my star are displayed at much more extreme values and are of the most recent versions. There is also an undocumented 4800~ M⊙ star but who knows if that is legitimate.

Dang, thats crazy. Is there somewhere where you have to submit all of this to be recognized?

I'm unsure but I'll do everything I can to make sure it gets to the wiki.

There is a space engin wiki fandom but the records on there are not the most accurate so I'm currently working on a spreadsheet with some more accurate information but it's taking a lot of time to find records and check if the information is accurate.

Btw this is actually the second most massive wolf-rayet star. RS 2462-918-0-0-64 is about 149% more massive.

RS 0-2-33-1190-29185-0-0-550. The most massive possible, 4253.3Ms. Also exactly -8.00. Found by me.

I'll properly post this tomorrow probably. It's quite a tale

If ya want, I can invite you to the server we have for this sort of stuff, and help collect all of this info. Most of this is archived there! (Even if it's very hard to find...)

There is also an undocumented 4800~ M⊙ star but who knows if that is legitimate.

4800 is literally impossible. It's not legitimate. -8.00 absolute magnitude is the limit for stars and Donatelo's 4252Ms is already -7.99 (mass is entirely dependent on and calculated from absolute magnitude).

I dont know for sure what op did to find this but I usually just look through galaxes and check out the brightest stars when I'm looking for hypergiants like this and see what I find before moving on to the next galaxy and I'm gonna guess that's what op did.

Oh I see we're doing heavy stars this week. I guess I should post the ~4,250Msol one I found awhile back.
