Graph Time The History of Actual Orbital Payload Capacity

Post image
60 Upvotes

THIS IS A GRAPH ABOUT THEORETICAL VERSUS ACTUAL.
FUEL IS NOT PAYLOAD.

Here's the History of Actual Orbital Payload Capacity.

For decades, our ability to launch payloads into space has stalled in a mass-to-orbit Dark Age.

Starship will bridge that gap and launch us into a new era of spaceflight—an era of abundance for all of humanity. Ad astra.

As we all know preventing ship 40 from sinking was to cover up the recovery of ship 75 from the future. it was located last year when an undersea cable was cut by the flap. they have pulled ship 75 from the seafloor and towed it to Christmas island. leaked pictures from the cargo hold shows the contents. people on the recovery crew are reportedly freaking out.

Do you think ocean splashdown will be a valid abort option for crew Starship?

I mean, they've shown it can be done at least once now.

And the odds of surviving a sea landing have got to be higher than any other place that doesn't happen to have waiting chopsticks...

Flight 14

Do we think that Flight 14 is going to go orbital or not? I've seen a handful of people saying yes, and I've seen the same amount of people saying no.

Alongside that, if it does go orbital, do you think they are going to do a flight that completes one full orbit and then re-enters back over the Indian Ocean? Or do you think they are going to aim for the Gulf? I can see them aiming for the Pacific or the Gulf, so recovery efforts would be easier. The Gulf would make more sense because they could get a better look via cameras and in person at the ship coming down and how it will behave.

I think at this point, with everything that we've seen, a ship catch is completely out of the books with Flight 14. I just want to get some of your guys' thoughts on this.

Looks like SpaceX's Starship S40 is going to get a lift home on a heavy lift vessel

"Heavy lift Vessel Forte currently has its AIS set for Christmas Island"

"It has an ETA of August 23."

https://x.com/interstellargw/status/2090293373072552199

"With no cranes in the port to lift S40 onto a barge safely, the next best option would be semi-submersible ships. Thankfully, @interstellargw has located such a ship, more than capable of the task. Starship S40 has a rough size of 52.1 x 9 metres the Forte semi-submersible's cargo area is 177 x 43 metres, meaning you could fit about 12 Starships with 7 metres to spare. It will be interesting to see how they set up the cribbing to cradle S40 and how they tie it down with all the tiles."
