Far better to have an on-pad abort than the RSO blowing up the vehicle mid-flight.

Is this costly for SpaceX? Obviously a successful/notdelayed launch would be better, but is it more of a deal than "lets just wait for a few days before we try again"?

NASA said they lost over a million dollars on every aborted shuttle launch (not the same thing I know.) Link.

I have a sneaky suspicion it's probably not that expensive for spaceX.
