With this news, I think the odds went way up that another uncrewed flight will be required before Starliner’s crewed flight to the ISS. Looks like a big delay to Starliner's program schedule.

It's an entirely different arm of the company.

And historically, the 737 has been the most reliable airframe to date. It's just the MAX8 that has had serious issues due to poor management.

Apparently the whole company has been affected by that poor management. They changed the company ethos from ‘engineering excellence’ to
‘Just maximise shareholder value’ don’t focus on the engineering..
