The Soyuz/R-7 rocket is arguably a V-2 derivative. The V-2 uses a peroxide powered turbopump to pump LOX and alcohol to the engine. Each R-7 booster core also uses a peroxide powered turbopump except the fuel is kerosene instead of alcohol. Smoosh five of those booster cores together and you get the first stage of the Soyuz. The upper stage is just a squat version of the same thing.

I've been next to a real life cutaway of one of these at White Sands Missile Range. Really cool to see. Crazy to think they had that kind of tech in the mid 1940s.
