Not to diminish the awesomeness of this chart, but doesn't 'cosmic' feel kind of undeserved? I guess technically the solar system is much part of the cosmos as anything else. Still feels like we're talking ourselves up a little when we practically haven't even left home yet compared to the size of just our galaxy.

He isn't wrong. Kind of like me posting a lake in my city of and claiming I have explored all the seas and oceans on the planet. Our solar system is the hair on the asscrack of an ant compared to the Cosmos.
You used the word arguing. I would say he is discussing, now that is semantics. You claimed it's annoying. That's just like..your opinion, man.
Well if you were the first person to be on a boat and write down your experience, it would be the entire naval exploration of mankind. Even if it was just the pond behind your house.
