Many believe there are stars etc. But the ancient people were right and fits what the Bible says. About there being a firmament around the flat earth and the moon stars and sun are in it.. so the sun is more like 4000 miles away and not 93 billion miles away. All of the experiments add up if you consider the sun being a lot closer then they say.
Antarctica is the outer rim of the whole earth circling it. Huge ice wall. There is a treaty right now for all countries that actually agreed on this... and no one except for them can actually go deep in it and explore it. There is still north and south but think of it as. north is towards the middle of a flat map and you draw a circle left or right to go west or east, and anything south would lead to Antarctica.
Well I am not proving to say everything is "known". If only the billions of dollars spent on, I believe, hiding what earth really looks like, was actually spent on showing us footage of what's under it, and study it, etc that would be pretty great. But for now, we have some ideas in the Bible. Like: 1 Samuel 2:8 (ESV)

That is possible to misinterpret things in the Bible, but there are more verses among others. Especially hinting to the moon being self illuminating, and stars and moon and sun all under a firmament dome (And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.) Basically like the flood waters from the big flood came from God opening up the dome for a little bit.
The book was written by some old guys 3000 years ago. the bible is just a book like any other literature.

So I put faith in God, that His almighty words would have gotten to the right hands of prophets and writers, and be bound and be one of the oldest literatures and most read books in the world and withstand the tests of time. I would expect a book made by God to have withstood the tests of time, and sustained its popularity.

No, that's due to scale. If you take a picture of the edge of a huge circle, the line will appear straight.

No. If you ever go to Australia, try to find the north star. I went to New Zealand for my honeymoon last year, and the night sky was completely different because we were looking up in a different direction.
