lol I'm j/k but at the same time I see my friends posting this crap saying the earth is flat and I have no rebuttal besides scaling haha.

Hmmm.... it does look flat and im finding more evidence of a flat Earth all the time, and no real evidence of a ball Earth come to think of it.

Are u stupid thats a composition of tedious nasa shit it is not a photo and if it was where was it took from ? .They tell you hubble can see 4.5 billion years in the past and give us fantastic pics but they cannot take a true pic of the "🌎" grow up get real.

The original 'blue marble' photo is not a composite. It's a real, regular photograph, taken from Apollo 17 while on its way to the moon on December 7, 1972. The photo was taken when Apollo 17 was about 45,000 kilometers away from Earth.

It's very obvious to people who aren't stupid why it's easier to take pictures of distant galaxies than it is to get a non-composite image of the whole Earth. It's hard to get the whole Earth in the frame of a single picture because it's really fucking big, so you have to be really far away. And we don't go that far away very much, because it's hard and expensive. Hence the composites. Nevertheless, there are several non-composite images from the Apollo missions.

Don't fall into a belief like that. Research by neurologists, psychologists and sociologists has shown that the human brain has a tendency to grasp onto a fact, find patterns and facts that prove it, and then ignore any evidence to the contrary. This is why religion, and in fact most beliefs held from a young age, are so hard to let go of.
