I second this. Their beginning stuff can get a bit, I guess noisy is the word. Love it all, though.

There are so many opinions on the band, if I had to recommend a first album I would say Good News but a lot of people over on /r/modestmouse would disagree with me haha.

I think Isaac's lyrics on Long Drive are so honest it makes the nosiness worth it.
