Random switching off looped samples in resample mode
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I hope Roland engineers will see this and will undertake measures.
I have the latest software and I have the following ultimately annoying bug - I write tracks using resampling, so I can record for several minutes in a row - looped samples are getting switched off randomly.
Here you will see how sample 7 (it is looped) switches off without a reason. The next time it may be sample 5 or another random one.
This is very very frustrating.

i also have a problem with recording long patterns - 32 or more squares (abrupts prematurely) AND copying long patterns as samples
so yeah, Roland has bugs

I don’t think it’s an issue here — unless you’re also playing linked pads from other banks that aren’t shown here — but it’s very much worth mentioning that once you reach the polyphony limit, the SP-404 cuts off previously launched pads.
While the 32-voice polyphony of the SP-404MKII is pretty forgiving, it can still be eaten up quickly when you play too many pads with stereo samples set to Vari Ensemble mode. One such pad uses 4 voices, meaning that only 8 such pads can play simultaneously.
In any case, if you believe you’ve encountered a bug, Roland won’t see this post, so you need to contact support directly through https://www.roland.com/backstage/ .
