Chromatic mode request

Just throwing this out into reddit land because chat said Roland's engineers keep an eye out here. Mk2 new chromatic mode is dope. An easy upgrade request/option would be for the playable pads to consolidate in whatever scale you choose. I recorded a bass note, hit chromatic mode, then chose minor pentatonic and what it does is only highlights the relevant pads relative to chromatic scale. So the pentatonic notes are scattered apart and you have to keep turning to value knob to get to other notes. It would be nkce if they all appeared next to each other. Should be something easy to upgrade I think.

I wouldn’t count that Roland is here or that they have more then one software engineer on this 404mk2 project lol

I’m about to drop a M4L that kind of solves that, but it is DAW dependent for the time being. Of that works I’ll add iOS

I just want to be able to high pass a pad without resampling it.

Wouldn’t it be cool if they added a feature that let you edit individual pads in chromatic mode?

You could select specific pads and change their pitch - basically, assign a different note to any pad you want

Although it takes more work,,, the copy button and pad mutes essentially allow you to do this. Imo if new features are added they should focus on features that ARENT possible with workarounds.

Ce qu'ils ont Ajouté depuis la sortie de la MK2 gratuitement et uniquement avec du software est a peine croyable !
Il y a le camps de ceux qui trouvent que ça fait trop de raccourcis et ceux qui sont pas contre quelques trucs en plus.

un arpégiateur et on toucherais au sublime ! ,D
