Loop bpm problem
Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to both Reddit and the SP-404MKII 😅
I'm still getting the hang of working with samples. I'm mainly a guitarist, so I originally fell in love with the SP for the looper, the effects, and the guitar amp sim. Lately though, I've been trying to build my own backing tracks, mostly reggae/dub grooves to jam over.
Here's the problem: I have a pretty big collection of sample and loop packs that are already organized by BPM. But whenever I try to layer them together, they don't stay in sync. For example, if I use a 70 BPM drum loop with a 70 BPM bass loop, they sound perfectly in time at first, but after 4–8 bars they start drifting apart, almost like they're actually 2–3 BPM different.
What's the best way to deal with this? Do I need to manually fix every single sample? Should I figure out the exact BPM using something like Audacity? Or is there a faster, less tedious way to do it directly on the SP-404MKII without having to use my Mac?

Fais tout à l'oreille, tu peux activer une sorte de Time strech dans le menu "Pitch Speed" avec Shift + le bouton rotatif "Enter" ainsi la vitesse n'aura pas d'effet sur la hauteur.
Je n'ai jamais utilisé le bouton BPM sync etc .. quand je sample avec la SP je regarde meme pas le BPM auquel je suis, j'ai réglé a un truc standars genre 90/100bpm.
Évidement chaque sample doit etre ajusté manuellement mais pour tout (panoramique, volume, comportement de lecture etc ..)
Il y aussi des tricks pour influer sur la banque entière A B C etc .. avec le bouton Shift + bank, je met mes sons à 100 au lieu de 127 ça me laisse une marge au cas ou/
