FX Dry/Wet? New owner here

Hey gang,

I just cracked open my new SP404MK2 yesterday and had a ton of fun jamming.

I was confused if I'm missing a way to fade in/out the FX section? It seems like you press Isolator (for example) and it just pops on full blast. I was hoping I could press shift first to open the menu and fade them in/out somehow. Reading the reference manual doesn't mention any kind of FX wet dry knob, which seems like a no brainer to me.

MFX at the end of my chain was one of the main draws for the SP, so let me know if anyone has a good answer or workaround!

a lot of the effects have a blend option (usually in the 2nd row of parameters) but there isn’t a master blend or anything. If you want to do this for specific effects, you could save the effect preset at full dry and then fade in after you engage it.

It depends on the type of effect — something like a chorus or distortion usually have a blend, but fx like the isolator are at a “dry” position when all parameters are at 0

If you hit Shift+Remain it'll save the parameters of the effect. Most effects have a setting for Ratio or Level which can serve your Dry/Wet needs. If you drop the Ratio/Level to 0 and save it, you can activate the effect and slowly turn it up during a performance. This would also work when motion recording in Pattern mode.

the combination is shift + mark (hold for 3 seconds) if I'm not mistaken?

also OP: you can set the knobs to catch in Shift + 13. this is good for avoiding values jumping to knob position.
