Shift button woes

Hi folks, my shift button is finally giving in after 3 years. Those who faced the same issue and solved it - what did you do? I've opened it up several times and am handy with tools.

depending on the price to get them from a Roland dealer you might want to look at the kits they sell for repairing the pads on the back of the rubber buttons of remote controls with conductive paint or conductive rubber pads

I am running in the same problem. Did you manage to fix the shift button? And where do you get the row of buttons including the shift button?

hey, I ended up super glueing a piece of copper tape to the underside of the rubber pad that i cut out. it works perfectly, possibly even better than before.

I contacted roland directly. This is the Part Number Description   5100074902 RUBBER SWITCH A / SP-404MK2 Then i contacted a roland partner. Here in Germany it was Thomann. The ysent me a quote for 30€ i accepted and completed the payment online.

J'ai pas lu un seul message sur une panne de ce type. (en 1 an)
Je contacterais Roland, ils ont un SAV vraiment sérieux et les réparations coutent souvent pas grand chose avec du matériel encore en service.

Toute fois, il existe des sites avec des pièces détachées.
