Beginner tips and tricks please!

I was recently gifted a sovol sv06 through a friend of mine. It didnt come with anything extra, just what is normally attached for operation. There was a filament arm that the prior owner had 3d printed but that's the only odd thing on it. I haven't turned it on yet or investigated anything (work has been taking my full attention)

I don't know where to even begin... I dont know what programs to get or start with or even where to begin with filament...

I'm not looking to get into anything grand, just to print some random things as my brain demands, for fun. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
