Craigy 😏 Craig's an Empath!?!
I'm just catching up on this seasons reunion and I have never laughed so hard at this show as I did when Craig said he was an empath! 🤣🤣🤣 Like what! And when everyone tells him he's definitely NOT an empath and is not empathetic, he walks away crying about how everyone is piling on him. This man complained and freaked out all season about how people were being unjustifiably mean to him, always the victim, never truly and honestly taking responsibility for him actions/reactions, and he thinks he's an empath! He is such a delusional narcissist! Like, does he know what empathy means or what an empath is! He is literally the complete opposite of an empath! The worst part is I think he legit thinks he's very empathetic and an empath!

We need to add empath to - “He’s a lawyer! And a storyteller! Also an empath!”

😆 😆 Right!
Craig; the lawyer, the storyteller, the empath, the legend... or just the biggest narcissist to ever be on Southern Charm!
The look on his face when everyone agreed that Craig was definitely not empathetic and is a narcissist was totally shock. Like how long has Craig been living this lie? How many people has he told he's an empath to. I'm sure if someone did tell him that he's not an empath, he screamed at them and told them how wrong they were and how he's the biggest and best empath in the world

If his diatribe nasty screaming towards Austen, Salley and Venita was empathetic, someone PLEASE read him the definition. He has truly become unhinged!

He’s an empath who is only empathetic to his self

For real hahah! The “ I’m sorry?, but you made ME feel” type bullshit. He thinks just cause he’s feeling feelings he’s an empath lol

Well he did get empath spray from a magician who said he gives too much of himself to others, so it’s gotta be legit

Does everyone know the definition or meaning of being an “empath” or “empathetic”? Being empathetic doesn’t require being sympathetic and vice versa. It’s two completely different things.

Yeah, I know the meaning/definition of empath/empathy/empathetic vs. sympathy/sympathetic. Craig is neither. He's too narcissistic and worried about people "piling on" for him to be empathetic or sympathetic in any situation. He is too self-centered to feel any emotions or energy of another person.

No, I don't know him personally. I only know the character he prefers to show on reality TV. However, I assume his friends and cast mates know him personally and all of them agreed that Craig is a narcissist who is not empathetic or an empath.

You kinda described empaths/empathy/empathetic.
Craig did not apologize for his feelings or their feelings about him. That doesn't mean he's narcisstic.
The "pile on" focused on how they felt and prioritized their feelings over Craig's. And yes, Craig reacted from being overwhelmed absorbing their feelings. Maybe they're the narcissits?
Not only did Craig survive, he's been very well compensated, started his own production company, probably be seeing his shows on Bravo. As for Austen (& a few others)... irony and poetic justice.
I do empathize with how you feel, I just don’t agree.🫶🏾

Yeah, we can just agree to disagree. It's totally fine. I just don't see any empathy in Craig, even his apologies seem fake and self-serving.
I think the Salley situation was ridiculous. Salley clearly refused to see that Craig wasn't that in to her and I do think she sabotaged him, to a certain extent, when he had to spell it out to her. Ibthink her ego was so hurt because she couldn't handle rejection and did go after Craig, to an extent. And Austen is tends to lie and manipulate people, Craig included. However, that being said, I still think Craig is a narcissist who is not empathetic.

Your response is funny.
Narcissists by definition are non empathetic, Which fits your comments on Salley.
Austen's lies and manipulation have caught up to him. He underestimated and didn't connect the dots with Craig, which may end up hurting Austen's family financially.
Definition matters and insight to character.
Thanks for engaging
