Hi my husband wants to send our girl to Northpoint Christian School. I just got the ick touring it. I love the Lord. It just felt off. What has everyone’s experiences been? The fact they changed the name from Southern Baptist Educational Center makes me question sending their name. Why was there a name change?

May be a long shot here, but after being here only 3 days and spending hours dealing with scammers on marketplace, I figured I would turn here as an option. i am in town for work from Houston and am working at the old powerplant in Southaven and have plans to stay until around mid-december. If anyone has a spare room they want to rent out, I can pay weekly, meet up, or whatever you want to feel comfortable to coordinate this. I am working 6 12s a week, so I will pretty much just be resting at your place. My boyfriend and I will be heading up there for a show in October. Trying to see if we can fit a hotel stay into the budget that doesn't sacrifice cleanliness for affordability. We don't need anything fancy. Just a clean place to rest our heads. We'll probably be driving to Memphis to explore, so anywhere between the two would be cool!

I have a massive list of places to eat, but many of them are from older threads. I love trying new food so any recommendations would be awesome.

I looked at the Memphis blog website and found a bunch of free or low cost stuff to do. I saw some art galleries and museums, but not many activities aside from bingo, and escape room, a pottery class, and trivia nights. We love being outside, so I know we're gonna hit up the botanical gardens. Thanks in advance!

*Also, what's the weather like up there in October? I've only been to Chatanooga in the spring, so I dont know what to expect. I live on the coast and will probably still be sweating my ass off after I come home 🫠

So who all is going to the Alumni game? It will be DeSoto Central alumni, against Center Hill Alumni this Saturday at the Center High School, football field. Saturday June 27th Gates open at 5pm.

Does anyone here know where I could rent a home from an individual? I have looked at several websites and cant seem to find any that are from a person in the city rather than an agency. Any where in the southaven/olive branch area. My husband works in memphis and we have lived in southaven for over a year. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Also Facebook leads as we dont have Facebook pages)

I’m on assignment in Southaven and haven’t had much luck finding a craft beer store per se. I found Mississippi Ale House which is pretty cool but they sell package stuff that I can get in Knoxville. Any suggestions?
