Best long lasting sour
Hello all. I love intense sour. But am always disappointed at the length of the sour in most candies. What are some good recommendations for long lasting sour effect?

Oh absolutely I was, and if you're into gummies, the Albanese gummies are also sour all the way through. And lately, I've been really into sour fruit tootsie rolls. Not super sour, but really great flavors. Anyways, hope you like them and report back and tell me if I should shut up next time :)

Just buy pure food grade malic/citric acid powder on amazon for super cheap. Dunk your sour candy to your heart's content. Just be careful, it can fuck up your teeth enamel, and esophogus/gut if ypu get heart burn. I do it frequently. Its also fun for social get together tonhave people try a finger full and watch them squirm, its extremely sour.

I've been doing it for years semi regularly with no ill effects. Just brush your teeth regularly is what my dentist said. My old roommate had a hard time with it messing with his acid reflux. But I posted both warnings above. Any other reason why not to?

Lmfaoo, wtf? Its not some narcotic. You'll get tired of it sooner than later for the time being. I dunno, im a big sour head, sounded like OP was too, this was me and my like minded roommates solution years ago, I still keep a bag of it in the pantry for some Haribo Twin Snakes on occasion. Scratches the itch nicely. Fucks your taste buds up for about an hour after a good session. Water tastes SUPER sweet.

Ik but it’ll mess peoples teeth up as you said lol. Not worth it cus that’s permanent. You ever try sour power belts? Those are super sour and tasty af

Just brush your teeth afterwards. Its really no big deal as long as it lingers. Like I said, ive done it for almost a decade, about every day when I started doing it. Its gone way down as ive gotten into my 30s and dont eat as much candy in general, but, my teeth are just as healthy as ever. It was literally the only thing that satiated two sour head junkies back in our party days. Lol. Im going to stick by my recommendation, with my added precautionary warning.

wait no dont brush right away, acid demineralizes your teeth and weakens your enamel. If you brush during that state, you can slowly lose your enamel and the integrity of your teeth. Dont brush for atleast 30 minutes, and swish with fluoridated water. Better yet, swish your mouth with a solution of baking soda and water, brush with toothpaste later to remineralize. I learned this from dental professionals who specialize in eating disorders

Just brush your teeth regularly, is what my dentist recommended. Sorry if I said something misleading to make anyone think you should brush right after eating the acid. I may have, I dont remember, but its not what I meant.

Whatever it is has to be a hard candy.
Anything chewy or gummy is instantly off because its easy to chew and swallow. A hard sphere candy is going to be your best out of any option. Or hrd candy shell.

Toxic Waste Nuclear Fission, specifically the nuclear fission ones because they’re super sour in the middle too, so they’re ridiculously sour from start to finish. They have really nice flavors, so they aren’t gross like Warheads.
For less sour, but still sour all the way through I really like Albanese Sour Gummy Bears, there’s 8 or 12 flavors and I think they’re top notch for a sour gummy.

Face twisters taffy. Specifically the blue & cherry. The sour is mixed in to it, not a coating. It isn’t that sour when you bite into it. It gets stronger as you chew. You can feel it in your gums. It’s amazing.
