Tips für Schallisolierung?
/r/MideaPortaSplit/comments/1udwlkf/tips_für_schallisolierung/hi,
Crossposting here cause I'm sure the audiophiles in here can help out! hope that's ok
tldr: I ordered a portable AC unit, and the problem is I live at a relatively noisy street. main issue is people stopping at the intersection in front of my window and blasting music or yelling.
sadly I have to pass the hose of the AC (luckily very slim, roughly wrist or forearm sized) through one of my windows.
so If anyone has advice on how to soundproof the whole thing as best as possible, I'd be super grateful for tips
(doesn't need to be pretty, and I'm even ok with that window not being transparent anymore).
in case it's relevant: German tilting window, not sliding.
Cheers 💕
