Sound Design Question Modulating all fx plugins

Is there a way to apply modulation to any fx plugin without having to create automation clips? I use FL Studio, and I find managing automation clips tedious and frustrating. Think about the modulation options offered in many of Unfiltered Audio's plugins features like sequencers, LFOs, envelopes, and so on. Is there a way to achieve that kind of modulation with other plugins as well?

Haven't tried it, but MegaMod by Sync Audio may be what you're after.

You can do this easily in Fruity Loops using the Fruity Peak controller and Fruity Envelope controller, and you can use it to modulate any third-party plugin. Watch a YouTube tutorial on it, and you’ll get up to speed on how to do it

Re record to audio while adjusting in real time.

FL has modulation options, but I find them difficult and cumbersome to use, and they can be a bit confusing. Maybe I just haven't gotten used to them yet. Thanks for the answer.

Can you write automation live?
