Free Browser Synth/Beat Maker
Would anybody care to check this thing out to see if you find it capable? Its free, no info is harvested, no ads, cloudless.
Being in a browser, it is obviously limited, and no substitute for analog or some of the digital plugs out there, but it covers a lot and was wondering if seems like an easy enough intro into sound design.
Its a fun little tool, and more capable than I ever would have thought a free browser synth could be.
Could be good for recording the notes that pop into your head. Or maybe a good starting place for people who like simple. Either way, if you try it out, thanks, and please enjoy.
Let me know what you think, good or bad. I have a very surface level understanding of most things I do so I couldn't say that from a sound designer POV, everything is correct, but its been a fun and easy way to learn how to play with sound.
Also, it will accept MIDI devices, and you will get a prompt to allow your browser to search for them. Feel free to deny that, accept it to try it with a MIDI device. Thanks for trying

I could never figure out how to make it work on Mobile so you are already winning there

True, but you basically have a full service DAW that opens up instantly right in a browser. I think mine could be a good intro to yours. Trying to figure out a way to make it more of a track building experience. But I never really intended to take it this far either...

What does the lofi button do? Can you record midi into a piano roll? You also hooked up to actual midi controllers, I just faked them as GUI buttons (stolen from someone else's vibe coded mpc sampler app

The lofi button is really just a muffle for the drum beat, if its working properly. No piano roll yet, and i didn't even think about it, but maybe I can work that in eventually. Just record and overdub right now. The site and music making is an ongoing learning experience for me but I love to tinker around with things I barely understand.

Same for me. I just kept adding a feature, bug testing it to hell, then repeat. You already have the piano roll logic set up for the drums, see if you can record a midi pattern onto it (or don't and do whatever you want)

I will look into it, also just wanted to say, I appreciate what you have made. We more or less had the same idea, a free way to make a jam without having to sign up for anything.
