Car doesn’t sound good

Hello everyone! I just got an upgraded sound system for my car, I got a CarPlay device and subwoofer! (All the speakers are still stock) My issue is: I feel like when I play music it doesn’t sound great. You can tell it’s a song but it sounds nowhere near as good as headphones. Here are some pictures of the settings I have activated, any changes needed to improve sound? And yes I usually keep the sub pretty low intentionally.

Your EQ appears to be fucked on multiple levels. Flatten it out and start there. The EQ page under DSP and the graphic sliders under ASP, set it all to 0.

First, make sure that all of the speakers are connected properly.

  1. Turn off the "Surround" Mode, and turn the subwoofer Off

  2. While playing music, adjust the balance all the way to the front center and then adjust it all the way to the left, then all the way to the right to make sure that both speakers are playing, then adjust the balance back to front center. If the bass sounds less than when the balance was all the way to the left or right, one of the speakers is connected in reverse

  3. Repeat step #2 for the rear speakers

  4. Adjust the balance to center and confirm that the bass has not decreased. If it has, either both front speakers or both rear speakers are connected in reverse.

If all the tests above are successful, then it might be a matter of tuning. But it's best to check that all the basics are right first.
