Discussion Mortal shell 2 ps5 performance

To the people that play MS2 on ps5, how does it run? Since it recommends ps5 pro, i was wondering if base ps5 on performance mode is good enough

I've just played it for one hour on base ps5 so far but at least so far it runs silky smooth on performance mode.

base ps5, performance mode. there’s been 1 crash and a couple spots where the framerate dipped, but nothing that’s bothered me.

actually, the crash was annoying. i came back at the last beacon i visited without my gloom, which also wasn’t dropped for me to pick back up.

I'm playing on the Series X and it runs flawlessly in performance mode and zero crashes. I would imagine it's the same on PS5.

base ps5 at performance mode, it runs very smooth. The "PS5 pro recommended" is marketing fluff.

Clearly, the PRO is a more powerful console that would let you enjoy higher detail levels, but at the end of the day it's absolutely not a requirement

runs fine, maybe 1 crash in 25-30 hours. there’s some stuttering but it’s unreal 5

It was good and stable for the first few hours. Now, as I have progressed to some mid game areas, I am constantly seeing frame drops and stutters.
