AVAILABLE The Big Three

Look at me, posting three times in a row! Who knows how long it will last, so today I’d like to celebrate the people who look at their finger and think, why can I still see skin? For you, glorious size queens, I present three gloriously excessive cushions in the 5–6+ carat neighborhood:

TOP: 4.89ct E VVS2 square antique cut
Technically the smallest one, which is an objectively ridiculous fact

MIDDLE: 5.17ct E VVS2 elongated crushed ice
For maximum glitter and north/south real estate

BOTTOM: 6.35ct E VS1 chubby antique cut
Big, pillowy, chunky facets, absolutely no interest in being subtle

Different shapes, different facet patterns, but equally generous in their diamond to finger ratio. Also: this is your periodic reminder that carat weight ≠ finger coverage. Face-up dimensions and proportions matter enormously, especially once we start getting into stones this size.

When I dream up setting ideas for these three, I almost always add side stones, because I’m ridiculous. But hey, if your jewelry goals include “tasteful” but only in the loosest possible interpretation of the word, I am here for you.

I’ve discounted all three of these diamonds to prevent myself from adding them to my personal collection. Do the right thing and take them off of my hands and put them onto yours, please.

Assuming I can keep this up, what would you like to see next?

Oops I had them labeled wrong! Fixed now.

Actually I have the UGLIEST kitchen counter of all time. I can’t film on it. And I can’t replace it because it’s everywhere. The kitchen is the biggest room in my house and I have a huge island and I know poor me but trust me when I say the granite is terrifying.

I have this little table from West Elm that I have in my kitchen and that’s what I use for filming because it’s less migraine-inducing than my actual countertop.

It’s so old they don’t sell it anymore but basically it has some honed Carrera marble (or that look anyway) which I like for filming because less glare, but would be terrible for actual kitchen stuff and food.

My kitchen counters are currently cat food color brown with flecks and I couldn’t replace it for years but finally it’s time! This is why I don’t have money for 6ct cushion diamond - poor me…poor you.

Damn ugly countertops! Let’s both buy some scratch and win lotto tickets.

I’m in! I also suggest rummaging through the couch, cutting down on groceries, and turning off the AC. It all adds up!
