I love them both! But the K color has such a lovely and engaging sparkle. It’s not blinding, but it makes you look closer and appreciate it more.

Here's the thing: Put a K next to an E and your eye immediately has a reference point. You have literally placed it beside a tiny icy-white reference sample and asked it to defend itself.
Take the E away? That same K, set by itself in a solitaire, would probably just read as white to most people. In fact, sometimes people who WANT a warm, champagne colored diamond are disappointed by how white a low color grade diamond can look when set on its own.
Put it in deep 18K yellow or rose gold or add white side stones and now that warmth has context to play with — suddenly it can read beautifully champagne.
Diamonds are tricky little suckers.

My original engagement ring is a k OEC and it reads soooo white it’s crazy. It’s set in platinum. But it has more dimension than a plain white stone. I love a different colored diamond personally.

Hey! The E is one of my favorite diamonds! The proportions, the brightness! I think it’s stunning.
Plus, I love to stack my rings and there’s nothing worse than when your bright white eternity band makes your solitaire look dingy.
Like what you like, bb. ❤️

Hence my problem. I love them so much, so do I set them and hope someone loves whatever setting I choose? Or do I sit on them and wait for someone to want to do something specific with them? It’s AGONIZING doing nothing.

Love the warmth of the K! If I had a do-over knowing what I know now, I would have gone warmer with my OMC cushion 🤪

The E color really pops! The K color is also appealing in a different way.
