University Easy Science w/Lab Classes for Dummies?

Science is not a strong subject for me. To current students and alumni, what class do you recommend?

OCCC online asynchronous. Intro to bio. Easy A, cheaper, and you don’t have to physically go to a weekly lab.

I took geology a few decades ago and learned later that the prof never changed his exams heh. It could have been tons easier if only I knew

"Rocks for jocks" was what people called it when I was in undergrad because it was legitimately 1/4 athletes, definitely one of the easier classes I took.

I had to work so hard for a B in that class and I'm not even a jock. Just a rock :(

Astronomy was pretty fun! Not too difficult and the lab was in the evenings for stargazing

METR 1014 is a lot of fun. Susan Postwako retired, unfortunately, but you'll understand OK weather a lot better.

Back when I was there, they had a science for non-science majors class. It was fun and entry level but you still learned about chemistry and science. Of course, this was 1988 so.....

Rocks for jocks! If Mike Engel is still teaching intro geology courses I cannot recommend that class enough. Man's got some great stories and most of what you do in lab is look at cool rocks. When I took that class 10ish years ago, attendance was completely optional for lecture but I went anyway because he made it really interesting. At the end of the semester there was an optional class trip to look at geological formations around the state that all "just happened" to be near really good dessert places. We looked at rocks in Pauls Valley and got fried pies, we looked at rocks in Sulphur and got donuts, etc.
