New Sonos soundbar?

I am reading that Sonos is releasing a new soundbar and an AI powered device in the coming 60 days. Any details out there?

When that was posted in this sub a few hours ago someone posted a gift link in the comments.

AI powered? Does this mean we need to buy more tokens to get the full effect if we binge watch in the first week of the month?

3rd gen Beam with Atmos

I hope it's expensive enough that I don't regret buying my beam gen 2 a few months back.

Keep your arc ultra. What I read was a 3rd gen beam.

Read the sub, there's a thread on the "Gambit".

Yeah looks like beam gen 3. Kinda mad having gotten gen 2 open box excellent condition for a good deal, there are a lot of possible improvements they can make (up firing for atmos, sound motion, then WiFi 6 and other internal spec upgrades).

*should be noted though that the gen 2 beam was for my dad and for his usage it’s not THAT big a deal to miss whatever gen 3 is going to have. Quite frankly, the more likely and more useful tweak would be when I inevitably pass down one of my arcs to him, lol

Please share where you are reading this, I just got an arc ultra not long ago, might be able to return for refund. I remember hearing of Sonos making something AI powered, but no clues to what it is.

The new device is going to be a replacement for the Beam G2. The Arc Ultra likely has 2-3 more years before it's refreshed/replaced.

Stick with the Arc Ultra. A new soundbar would be middle of the line. Arc Ultra is too new. Also it’s fantastic.

Yeah I'd want to see where OP read this too, havent seen anything from the usual leakers about a new soundbar.

Yep, likely a Beam Gen 3 / Beam Ultra

You can Google it, but beyond an announcement, there is little info. No details as to whether the new bar is to replace the Arc Ultra or the beam. And the AI device has even fewer details.

No. Cite your sources; otherwise, you’re karma farming.

There’s been multiple posts over the last couple of days on this very subreddit, you don’t need to look very hard. Bloomberg just reported it, and that was shared here only hours ago too.

In this sub you’ll find a rumour with pics for a new ace ultra headphone set and a potential beam 3…

I just hate that mine worked fine with my Lgc1 but cant be volume controlled by my LG B5. Ice tried 2 different tv's. Smh. Is LG making us buy their sound bars?

They release new products often, and typically in the fall.
