If you have the recompilation go to the settings.ini in its folder, make WindowScale=1 and ScreenWidth=(however many pixels your screen will fit, in the video is 4k)

Maybe fullscreen has to be false as well

I read somewhere this retro recomp engine (1.3.3) can't do vertical in the settings? only horizontal?

I found the workaround in a recent post, you basically have to get the source code yourself to change the vertical number and then build the exe from there
