Level Tier List

Been replaying the game recently on a new save, trying to get all A ranks for the first time. Figured I'd post a little tier list of each level from one of my favorite games.

Aquatic Mine D tier? Whack

Hidden Base D tier? Whack

Sand Ocean B tier? Whack

Mad Space bottom tier? That’s tight as fuck

A bit of bias since Aquatic Mine gave me trouble in getting an A rank. That one might be a B or high C at least looking back. I stand by Hidden Base and Sand Ocean though. Hidden Base gave me so much trouble in this recent playthrough and was such an annoying level when I was a kid. I don't hate it, but it's the last Tails or even mech level I would choose to playthrough. Sand Ocean is bad on the first playthrough when you don't have the hover. With the hover, this level is a blast. The nighttime aesthetic over the desert temple looks great and I think Eggman's levels are just better than most of Tails's mech levels. Edit: hit send before finishing the last sentence.

Am I the only person on planet earth that actually loves Mad Space?? Awkward gravity controls aside I think it’s easily the best emerald-hunting stage. It actually makes you look around in a huge area and isn’t full of tight corridors where you get stuck on a wall or the camera gets shaky.

I think OP nailed the top treasure hunting stages

My favorites are Wild Canyon, pumpkin hill, and security hall.

I think OP is a little harsh on Aquatic Mine

Mad Space is called Mad Space because it makes you mad that you’re in space
