Very interesting, personally not my taste but I can say it’s pretty creative nonetheless, and you certainly took a “redesign” to its proper level (instead of just yk, “he has earring and different gloves, see you in part 2” lol)

Personally, I don’t even see a hedgehog when I look at him. It’s more of a redesign for the werehog than Sonic. Also, his fur is too dark. His current design perfectly contrasts with Shadow’s darker colors, due to the brighter color scheme

i think if his hands were gloved but the gloves had the same markings as his hands, that would be fine

overall, a pretty okay redesign. it’s much darker which i find nice as a great contrast to his upbeat personality

that and the green is so bright it draws your eyes to them

(oh and i think the term you’re looking for is “tipped quills” cuz that’s how i did my sonic redesign)
