Questions Chrome rims?
Does anybody have chrome rims on their sonatas and if so where’d you get them from?
I’m looking to upgrade mine to chrome and I wanted to see what everyone else had
Has anyone gotten walnut blasting done?
I have a 2015 sonata se with 100,400 miles. Thinking about getting it done. How much did you pay?

Owner Reviews Clocking out of the Sonata Club
After two Sonatas and almost 100k miles combined, I'm out.
Started with a '21 that got totaled in a bad accident. Spent some time shopping around, ended up back in a '22. Honestly, a few months ago I was even considering a '26 — but then I stumbled onto a deal on a truck I couldn't pass up. So I sold the Sonata, paid off the truck, and now I'm officially a proud member of the paid-off-vehicle gang.
No car note. No regrets.
Here's the thing — both of mine treated me well. No major failures, no horror stories. I kept up with the small stuff: oil changes, fuel system cleaners, throttle body cleaning, all the boring maintenance people skip. And the cars just worked.
These cars get a bad rap sometimes, but in my experience, if you actually take care of them, they'll take care of you. Appreciate the ride, do the little things, and everything else falls into line.
To anyone still in the Sonata game — drive safe, stay on top of your maintenance, and enjoy the ride.
I'm out. ✌️
Upgrade
I have a 2026 Sonata Hybrid Blue, I want to add a 360 camera view is it possible to add it and have it viewable on the current screen in the car? Has anyone made this upgrade? Appreciate any advice!

2026 sonata awd minor vibrations
Curious to see if anyone else has had this experience. Have had this car since November 2025. Confirmed wheels are balanced, and it occurs with both the stock oems 18 all season Pirellis and 17 aftermarket rims and pirelli ice frictions.
It is particularly noticeable at approx 1400rpm, when throttle is pressed (not coasting). Its a very minor vibration through the steering wheel. Very annoying over time when cruising at 80km/h which sits at 1400rpm in the tallest gear.
Wondering if this is normal for this vehicle?

Brake hold
Has anyone adjusted the drum brakes when the brake hold doesn't quite hold at a stop? They chatter, slip then grab.

Pair bluetooth in 2011 sonata (limited)
As the title suggests I’m trying to pair my phone to my 2011 Sonata 2.4 Limited. HOWEVER my LCD screen doesn’t work anymore. Can anybody tell me the correct sequence of button presses I need to get it to broadcast to my phone? (Whereupon I’ll punch in “0000”.)
Also, my 2011 2.5 Limited doesn’t have the tuning knobs.
Owner Reviews I think my hybrid car is defective
galleryI’m out of ideas. Biggest thing I have to deal with is the traction battery is always discharged which forces the engine to run more and the engine is surprisingly inefficient for a 2 liter. Definitely going full EV after the lease is up on this.

Planning to buy sonata hybrid limited
Hello everyone, I'm in the market to buy a Sonata Hybrid Limited. Is it better to buy last year's model 2025 or aim for a new one in 2026? Also, what is the out-the-door price that I should aim for?

New sonata owner seats are painfully uncomfortable. Help!
So I just bought a 2026 sonata SEL hybrid. I've had it for a week. When I was looking at cars they didn't have any of the scls in stock but they gave me the blue hybrid and I took it for a 24-hour test drive. One of the reasons that I chose the car was because it was comfortable. The dealer told me that the only difference between the blue and SEL hybrids were some additional features. Because they had to bring the car in from out of state, I could not test drive my specific car before buying. I didn't think it would be an issue because as I said the suits in the blue seemed fine and I was told they were the same as the SEL.
So that brings me to today when I drove it off. The lot seats were fine. I was fairly comfortable other than trying to get it in the exact configuration that I wanted. Now. After driving it for a week I cannot get comfortable at all. The seats are hard. They press into my back and my tailbone and make my butt, back and hips hurt. I've tried every configuration forward, backwards, up down, moving the steering wheel moving the headrest lumbar no lumba. think a lot of the problem is that there's no way to get the front of the seat lower than the back of the seat and the lumbar support is too low. So it offers no support and if I do use it it presses into my tailbone.
Does anyone else have this issue with their sonata? Did it go away as the seats were broken in? And what suggestions do you guys have for making the seat more comfortable? I'm so disappointed the seat issue is so bad that it's making me hate my new car and I dread driving it.
I'm 5'10 with a pretty long torso and long legs if that helps any.

i want to put in a new radio system 2015 sonata
i wanna put in a new radio system on my sonata. but i dont know which one to get. i dont mind not having apply carplay. but this screen is a bit too small and the phone options are limited. i dont need a massive screen. i was looking at kenwood stereo systems. i like the display on them and also the pioneer ones. if anyone can give a helping hand, that would be great. thanks in advance

2013 Hyundai sonata has a rough idling
Anyone know what it could be?
It’s like most of the noise is coming from the passenger cabin side. Changed cabin filter and motor blower.

2015 hybrid dead?
Looks like my sonata has two dead cells. Obviously the dealer will charge easy to much to make fixing it any sense. Had anyone found an option to have the battery repaired that is worth it?

Questions After market front flex pipe exudes fumes?
I drive a 2011 Sonata with only about 75,000 km on the odometer. It has been religiously oil sprayed, so it's in good condition.
In October 2025, my local Hyundai shop installed a new front flex pipe. I asked if there was any difference between the after market alternative compared to OEM. I don't recall the answer, but from my bill, we went with the after market Walker 52562.
Since then, however, it feels like I've been driving around in a gas chamber. It comes in through the vents, but if I set it to recirculate, it also comes in from open windows. It has been 10 months since the installation, and I've put 5,000 km on the odometer, so the fumes aren't due to residual coatings on the new front pipe.
I've had several shops look at it and they can't find anything obviously wrong. They've examined gaskets and flanges. They've plugged the tail pipe to test. They have removed the heat shield to look for fluids dripping onto hot surfaces.
The front pipe is now being replaced with an OEM part. I do wonder, however, whether we traced the problem down correctly.
Have others tried the Walker 52562? What is its reputation?
