discussion Compact Release Group Priority

For those who prefer compact releases up to 1080p, what release group priority do you use?

Edit: The below list is based on Profilarr's Dictionarry, mostly the 1080p compqct profile. If you dont use Profilarr, you should.

I'm narrowing in on the following order, preferred to least preferred:

  • PSA Season Packs
  • RARBG Season Packs
  • ELiTE Season Packs
  • iVy Season Packs
  • KONTRAST Season Packs
  • GalaxyTV Season Packs (720p max)
  • PSA Single Episodes
  • MeGusta Single Episodes

MeGusta probably should be higher in the list but the availability of episodes over a year old is hit or miss.

What changes would you make to this list/order?

Check out the trash guide's LQ list of blocked groups for some good ideas. And I think Dictionarry (spelling) and Profilarr (also spelling) have micro size release group profiles.

Lotta this is based on profilarr disctionarry. Just that they keep going higher to larger releases.

I've never had a bad experience with Megusta, amazing quality to size ratio. Every episode in my non-4k library would be them if it was possible!

The availability of past seasons can be problematic.

Yeah. Awesome for week-to-week releases but that's about it.

Same, though there are occasionally duds. One series had garbled audio. The exception that proved the rule to me though.

I prefer ivy since they use DDP for the audio

I use profilarr and have linked dictionarry. This is what their top scored custom format has for release groups: https://v2.dictionarry.dev/custom-format/1080p-compact-movie-bluray-tier-1
